Since Goa season is on, we thought you shouldn’t miss out on the Arpora night market, the state’s favourite flea market.

What Is It?

An artisan’s market that takes place in North Goa, it has been going on for two weeks now and will be on til April next year. The Arpora night market is set up every Saturday and is home to various stalls that sell everything from apparel, accessories, jeweelry art and food. It’s the coming together of different cultures from across the world and merging at this big, happy market. Food fro different parts of the world, made by people belonging to these countries will be there too Expect Mexican, Goan, Middle-Eastern fare among others. The venue is located right opposite Double Tree by Hilton in Arpora.

There’ll also be performances by DJs and live bands, so if you were wondering if it’s better to stay at a cafe, give it a thought again. There are international designers as well who convene from all over the word to sell their unique creations, many of which may be found only here. If you think you’ll still miss the ‘sitting with one beer in hand phenomena’ that happens in Goa, there’s bars as well.

If you’re hopping on over to Goa for New Year or Christmas, this is a must-visit. Pick up souvenirs or just hog on delish food, the night market is charming anyway.
