What Makes It Awesome

We came across Astitva which is a lovely store in Versova that retails sustainable, hand-crafted clothing, in bright, sunny colours. It’s a store that’s been around for a while, and we presume they've got a pretty loyal following, and rightly so. The design sensibilities of the brand and products are extremely ethnic-leaning, bohemian, with lots of salwar sets, desi co-ords and unisex clothing, perfect to add to your wardrobe, bringing in more ethnic wear.

Astitva also has lots of vintage and vintage-inspired jewellery options which we absolutely loved! They source all their jewellery during their travels, and you’re bound to find stunning pieces that have unique designs. We’ve got our eyes on the glass-studded pieces with pops of greens, yellows and red in them!

The apparel range seems to mostly have cotton-based pieces, however, we'd suggest not missing out on their range of super ornate sarees. Of course these are a great bet for shaadi season too, including the brides.  They also retail a plethora of different print styles like OG bandhej.
Hit them up for trousseau shopping, or a wardrobe re-haul. What we love most about Astitva is that you’re going to find clothing in colours that you do not see very often—think bottle green, purples and yellows paired together, along with rusty oranges in the mix. The colours are bright, out there, but aren't over the top.

The range starts at INR 1,407 for jewellery, and INR 3,850 for clothing.
