Promoting over 40 original and authentic art forms such as Thangka art, Kutch Lipaikam surface work, Blue Pottery tile work, Kalamkari Warli, Orissa and Bengal art and Gond art amongst others, and this helps provide an income to the grassroot artisans (huge brownie points for this!)
The store’s been revamped recently and has just opened its doors to the public, so you can expect a mix of new and innovative art, artefacts, zany furniture, mirrors and rugs, apart from the classic range that they already have.
This store is a whole new world – they have some of the most quirky artifacts we’ve seen (can you imagine see the whole Ramanyana painted on a box?).
Here, you can get pretty much everything to do up your home – unique tribal art, furniture, murals, art installations and much more. For the house, we loved their beautiful coasters (INR 480 upwards for a set), lovely lights (INR 200 upwards), lamps (INR 1,000 upwards), gorgeous clocks (INR 950 upwards) and much more. The studio also offers design solutions for homes and offices, and has a vast range of products that can easily give a makeover to our space.
This store also features a design studio where they help design products for a host of people (residence, offices and more), so if you have any wild ideas, you know where to head!
