Bad Café is a café in Bandra that’s great for chill evenings alone or a cosy date. it’s been open for a few months now, yet remains relatively unknown: here is our lowdown on this hipster place.

Who’s Bad?

No one, really, you MJ-enthuasist. Contrary to its name, Bad Café actually is an acronym of the sentiment ‘Bringing a Difference’, thought up by two siblings, Bhavna and Amit. After traversing through Spain, and imbibing a culture of a sync of body, mind and soul, this duo opened up this café, in the hope to integrate cultures, start new interactions and give high-quality European food {and stunning coffee, you should know}.

What’s The Space Like?

To get to the café, you should definitely turn on maps and keep your eye out for a narrow lane in which exists Bad. On entering, the architecture is pretty cool, although the space is tiny with a few tables and chairs and one pretty white swing.

The food is a little expensive, so that the intention should be to splurge, and not save over here. Expect a lil spanish, a lil European and some fusion Asian thrown in for good measure. The presentation is black and white, and as the buzzword goes around ‘minimalistic’.

They often hold yoga classes on the first floor, however this isn’t a regular activity so you better check in with them.

So, We’re Saying…

Hike to Bad Café, strike up a conversation with a cute Britisher {always a plus point} and crunch into the tapas platters here.
