There's a cafe right behind Rhythm House and opposite the Synagogue that prides itself on its Victorian decor. Started off by the people behind Carter's Blue (not too far away from Bake House), the decor here is chic, lined with funky murals and if you’re all about Instagramming where you eat, you won’t be disappointed.
In the mood for scrambled eggs and mushrooms? Hop or skip to the Bakehouse Café. The menu serves your basic cafe-esque dishes- home-made cut potatoes, cheesy garlic crack bread (not for the health-conscious), home-made tacos and more. The non-vegetarian counterparts don’t disappoint either- they’ve got butter garlic prawns, BBQ chicken pizza (thin crust), or the highly indulgent meaty pizza (topped with salami, chicken and sausages).
All about desserts? Try out the chocolate mud cake, tiramisu, or the croissant bread pudding. Though we found the menu to be diverse, the prices aren’t exactly pocket-friendly, however, one can manage within INR 1,000 (cost for two that is exclusive of taxes). So if you're looking to please your belly and meet friends old and new, heading to this cafe is going to be a great idea!
