What Is It?

Bandra Wine Festival is back with its sixth annual edition, which will be held on November 5 and November 6, with two whole days of wining, dining and music - aka our mini getaway to France.

Who Is It For?

Anyone who loves and appreciates wine, cheese and fun activities, Monsieur and Madame. The festival is being held at De Monte Park in Bandra and it'll transport you to a vineyard. With so many varieties of international and local wines at display - which you can taste - to the great selection of cheese with over 20 variations, this festival is looking like it will make for an amazing day out.

The wines at up for tasting would be Revillo Wines, Rhythm's strawberry, blueberry wines, Charosa wines and Grover Zampa {Cabernet-Shiraz, Santé Chenin Blanc to La Réserve which is a dark red wine infused with coffee beans, chocolate and vanilla flavours}.

Why Should I Go?

It is Mumbai's very own wine festival - why wouldn't you? You can taste eight types of domestic wines, have an eight-cheese platter along with loads of other activities that have been planned for you. The best bit is - you get to take part in the grape stomp contest {step into a tub of 5kgs grapes and stomp it with your feet}. You can also attend a wine masterclass, see an art exhibition, or go for blind wine tasting. To top it all - catch a live gig by RAM Trio who'll be playing on Saturday 8pm onwards.

Apart from this there'll also be salsa workshops that you can join in - so grab your partner and get with it. The outdoor setting is perfect to spend the weekend at and we will be there sipping our wine and gorging on cheese like a true classy Frenchwoman.

Anything Else?

The pass would be valid for both the days, however make sure to carry your ID card with you as anyone below 21 years of age would not be served alcohol. There will also be food stalls up by Desi Deli, Cambay Tiger to Pack-A-Pav for delicious and filling pavs. There'll also be a small flea market set up - so you can wine and shop at the same time {sounds like a dream to us}.

#LBBTip: All of the activities are not included in the pass and need to be signed up for separately. Also, the event is being held at a club so the daily guest fee to the club needs to be paid upon arrival.

Where: De Monte Park, Bandra West

When: 11am onwards, Nov 5 and 6

Price: INR 500 for both the days.
