Joy To The World: The Bar Stock Exchange Has Opened In Chembur

What is happening this month? If everything we’e hearing happening for real? Because there’s way too much joy all around. Now, The Bar Stock Exchange’s 11th outlet at Chembur opens on December 23 and we’re heading there this weekend.

No kidding! Just when you thought TBSE has finally reached every location in the city, they managed to surprise us yet again. The new outlet has a retro Hollywood theme, and evokes the 90’s nostalgia. Merging local Bollywood elements with Hollywood, the space is a throwback to classic 90’s theatre with neon signage and metal framework. We’re told that the light installation along the beams are a modern take of the retro vanity van mirror bulbs while the golden table tops add the glam factor to the space.

With dominant shades such as red, burgundy and grey, the neon colours add some fun to the interiors. Names of old-school Hollywood movies and actors flow through as scrabble table tops. Above the seating, a wall is completely decorated with vinyl records, antique cameras and items reflecting retro Hollywood that bring out the feel of the space.

The food here, as in all their outlets, will comprise of quick bites, pizzas, breads, mains, etc. And as for the alcohol, again, it will be their standard awesome {cheap} pricing- you bid and you win.
