Basanti & Co. in Andheri brings us colourful, vibrant interiors and a menu packed with flavours, there’s isn’t only one reason why we love this new restaurant.

When we heard that Basanti & Co. specialises in Awadhi and North Indian food, we couldn’t resist the urge. Done up to impress, this restaurant has lovely, colourful interiors {yes, we’re thinking of those Insta stories too}. We love their logo- a horse referencing to the famous Basanti from Sholay. With a relaxed, casual vibe, fun colours and wall prints, the ambience makes dining here a wonderful experience. Needless to say, the food is what will make you come back for more. We’d say go here when you miss digging into authentic North Indian delicacies.

Try their signature dishes such as galawat ke kebab, raan – e – Qureshi, baingan mirch ka saalan, murg tariwala, dum biryani and drinks such as gabbar ka paan {a gin-based paan cocktail}. There’s a whole lot more on the menu, so go ahead and order it all.

Interestingly, to make this a wholesome experience for their patrons, the good folks at Basanti & Co. have collaborated with a paanwala from Nashik, who sets up a Paan Station in the outdoor area. Here, look forward to 100 varieties of paan- from fire paan (which has flaming cloves that dive straight into your mouth) to black currant coffee paan, shahi masala paan, ice paan and more.
