1522 - This is one of Bangalore's spot opened in Mumbai and must say it has blown my mind. So to talk about its ambience, so it's Huge! It is beautiful, very well decored and perfectly articulated. P. S. They even have live singing happening on certain nights and it is a mesmerising experience. The best part of this place is to sit outside in the evenings and bedazzled with chic ambience.
To start, we tried LIIT and one of their in house cocktails i.e. Bourne Identity. These were nearly perfect, and great balanced on alcohol content. The watermelon crushed with bourbon was a great attempt at the experimental cocktail.
We tried Naga Chilli Chicken Wings, Galouti Kebab and Nimbu Mirch Tikka and lastly Watermelon Feta Salad . Starters were amazing, literally finger-licking delicious meat heaven I would say as those wings were beautifully glazed with spiciness (really spicy the way I love it), Galois was superbly smooth like butter and lastly, the tikkas were beautifully marinated and roasted to perfection. The salad was decent accompaniment.
Lastly, we tried their 1522 Pizza which was lovely wood-fired hence the taste was more enhanced one. Looked pretty with loaded toppings.
For desserts, I tried cheesecake and I can't thank them enough for this type of presentation as it sets them apart from usual presentation whereas taste-wise too it was great, with well-balanced sweetness.
Overall, service is good, the place is amazing, food is best so far in recent times and pricing is decent enough, hence I rate this place a 5 and makes it worth visiting again and again.
