A Laugh Riot: It's A Great Time To Revisit These Iconic Comedies From Bollywood
Hera Pheri
This once's a Hindi remake of a Malayalam blockbuster called Ramji Rao Speaking. But we prefer 'Kabira Speaking' over anything else! You can't deny that it's a classic. Hera Pheri revolves around a troublesome trio played by Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, and shows how they get involved in a dangerous case of kidnapping. We love it for the great comic timing and the killer dialogues. Does anyone remember Star Fisheries and the macchi that was fried in masst tel, btw?

Andaz Apna Apna
Please don't tell us that you don't remember Crime Master Gogo! Andaz Apna Apna is yet another cult classic which may not have been a commercial hit at the box office, but the performance and chemistry of Aamir and Salman Khan was loved by many. It's a story of two loafers Amar & Prem who compete to win the heart of an heiress and in turn end up protecting her from crimes. The dialogues of this quirky, unconventional comedy film, are quoted in get-togethers till date.

Welcome
Drop a thumbs up after reading this article if you think Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are a great comic duo. And Aneez Bazmi's Welcome has more than just that. There's Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar), Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor) It's a story of two thugs from the underworld who want to get their sister married to a genuinely good man. The drama starts when the man's uncle (Paresh Rawal) opposes the marriage. You won't get enough of this film, we bet!

Munna Bhai MBBS & Lage Raho Munnabhai
Let's admit that Munna Bhai's the cutest of all bhais. And of course, he is nothing without his Circuit. Both being the most iconic characters that Vidhu Vinod Chopra has given us till date, these two films are (what we can safely say) Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi best performances. While the first part of this hit series (Munna Bhai MBBS) revolved around an underworld don taking a medical college by storm, the second part (Lage Raho Munna Bhai) was all about Gandhigiri and its relevance to modern society. Do not miss this one!

Bhagam Bhag
A comedy film can never go wrong when you put Govinda, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, and Akshay Kumar in it together. This was one of Director Priyadarshini's greatest gift to Bollywood. Bhagam Bhag is about an Indian Theatre group called Champak, that goes to perform in London and the story gets interesting when the lead actress of the performance is absconding. And Govinda, Paresh and Akshay find themselves in a soup for a murder they haven't committed. Slapstick comedy, no-brainer dialogues, and powerful comic timing. What else do we need?

3 Idiots
Never has Vidhu Vinod Chopra ever failed to deliver masterpieces. 3 Idiots is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel One Point 5, and we love how the film's much better than the book (don't do attac now plis!) Here, we see Rancho, Farhan, and Raju's college life with Virus a.k.a Boman Irani. Right from the Broken Anda scene, to Chatur being sly with his farts, to the vacuum cleaner baby delivery, there's no point where we don't burst out laughing!

Golmaal Series
Rohit Shetty's Golmaal needs no introduction to be honest. And we love all the parts. Be it Golmaal, Golmaal Again, or Golmaal Returns, we love seeing the four friends, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, and a speechless Tushar Kapoor take us on a joyride with all their drama. The stories in all the parts are different. But the characters remain the same. We can't pick a favourite from all the parts. What about you?

Bhool Bhulaiyya
Rajpal Yadav's vermillion-smeared face is such a hit meme material all over the internet. We love this comedy-thriller of a film with Akshay Kumar trying to figure out who Manjulika is, throughout the film, and all the drama that thereby follows. We admit that it kinda gets serious in parts, but the fine comedy sequences balance things out.
