Do you often find yourself hanging around in Powai? And find it hard to choose from the long list of restaurants around? Well, we’ve made decision-making easy for you and here are our picks of the best restaurants in Powai.

Sodabottleopenerwala, Powai

The traditional Parsi dishes served with a quirky twist. The new outlet at Powai is different from its regular menu, so expect the favourites like berry pulao and chicken farcha there.Apart from this there’s the egg boiled sandwich, Paatra ni Macchi, a Parsi signature fish preparation coated with coconut green chutney, wrapped in banana leaves and steamed and Squid and Prawn Patio.  They have also introduced the concept of ‘daily specials’ which will have dishes through Monday to Sunday change.

Turban Tales, Powai

The menu has taken on from Mini Punjab and gone a step further. With its bar menu offering a concoction of cocktails, shooters and their special Patiala iced tea, there’s plenty to choose from. The food menu, on the other hand, finds itself upgraded. Let us first acknowledge the butter chicken at Mini Punjab to get it out of the way. Turban Tales is offering heavy Punjabi dishes. Though unlike a roadside dhabba, this one has moderate prices and clearly an upper hand in hygiene. In fact, think of it like a haveli-esque dhabba with a beautiful view of the Powai lake.

Neel Indian Kitchen & Bar, Powai

The Eggs Divinity at Neel is a clear winner thanks to the taste of scrambled eggs and cheese. That dish is so good, until uyou discover the Eggs Benedict that is, which proves to be tough competition for this one. Their Eggs Benedict comes with shredded potato, which is typical of Neel and Indigo Deli.
