This New Travel Café In Bandra Is Offering Discounts To Men With Beards

The Bhookha Beirdo is travel-inspired café that has just put a stamp on Bandra’s map, and here’s what’s on the itinerary.

Started by two travel lovers, Anurag and Gitanjali, The Bhookha Beirdo is a café and restaurant dedicated to the love of travel and it is now open at Pali Mala Road, Bandra.

The Beirdo, a seasoned traipser and traverser has gone ‘round the world in many days and through his sojourns, picked up a handful of experiences, delicious recipes and memoirs. At this café, as only makes sense, they aim to give you a taste of many parts of the world in one place, be it Greek food, Italian dishes, Tibetan tit-bits, or perhaps even Spanish delicacies.

Expect dishes such as the traditional Spanish paella, the Tibetan thupka {a very flavoursome noodle-soup from the region}, a crisp Greek salad tossled with salty feta cheese, fresh greens and sharp flavours of perhaps a Bunny Chow {a South African gravy inside a bread}. The mains are priced anywhere between INR 299–INR 599.

Men who aren’t weirded with beards and embrace them shall reap what they sow. In other words, the longer your beard, the more your discount.
