If you love reading and have always wondered what the process is to make a book what it is, this one's for you. There's a book binding workshop hosted by TARQ Gallery and Aditi Babel, that's a part of the gallery's ongoing exhibition, 'Osmosis.' In the workshop, you will explore the works in the gallery through a guided tour and also get to understand the intriguing design and craft technique called the 'centipede' technique, taught at TARQ. You will navigate the ideas of movement and migration, in creating handcrafted books with unique concepts, structures and bindings.
The workshop will also guide participants to attempt to bound their own books, and learn more about re-purposing found objects. If this does sound interesting to you (like it does to us!), do give it a shot, and learn a new skill.
