If you’re a sucker for books then you’re going to love Title Waves, which in our opinion is one of the finest independent bookstores in the city (and there’s a Di Bella there too).
Title Waves at Bandra is literally booked heaven. Firstly, the space is huge. All the book sections are neatly divided as per categories, making it super easy for you the look around or just make your way to your favourite section. They also have a dedicated shelf for poetry and comic books which is super amazing. The collection of books is pretty good- you can get your hands on almost all Haruki Murakami and Milan Kundera books (#ftw). The bestsellers section is kind of awesome and we usually find ourselves there picking some pretty popular reads. They could work better on their international section, because they already have Indian authors in abundance.
The best part about this bookstore, though, is that while you can sit inside and get lost in the books, you can also enjoy a good read over a cup of hot coffee thanks to the Di Bella there. How cool is that, right? They also host a lot of book launches, so you can enjoy a meet and greet with some amazing authors too. They conduct periodic workshops, classes, and even open mic nights which is pretty cool.
