As Mumbaikars, we all are pretty much aware of multiple wholesale markets around the city. For groceries, for clothes, for daily essentials or accessories even. But did you know there's an entire lane right next to the CST station which sells only papers? Bora Bazaar, a wholesale market for all kinds of papers, is surely a paradise for stationery lovers like us.
Well, there are couple of lanes near the CST station, so we suggest head to Pancham Puriwala and ask anyone around about Bora Bazaar.The locals will happily guide you to the correct lane. Once you've entered the lane, you'll notice there are tons and tons of small shops selling multiple kinds of papers - textured, coloured, printed etc. So, if you're a DIY freak, go crazy!
There are a few shops which are iconic and are running over decades. And if you're confused, we'd suggest trust these. We checked out Sun Enterprises, one of the biggest and most popular shops there, and on entering it we died and went to paper heaven. Wall after wall were adorned with handmade paper, printed paper, metallic paper, chart paper, corrugated paper, translucent sheets of paper and more.
