What's Happening

When we hear exhibition, the first impression in our minds is of paintings by famous artists, and an elegant hallway of these paintings on either side and what not straight out of the movies! However, this weekend, Mumbai will witness a very unique exhibition wherein 50 life-sized horse's heads painted by renowned artists for a good cause will be displayed.

The horse heads are designed and sculpted by Arzan Khambatta. 30 artists were roped in to paint these in their own unique style. Artists include renowned names such as Paresh Maity, Brinda Miller, Manu and Madhvi Parekh and more. These sculptures will then be up for sale, the proceeds of which will go to two charity organizations- Passages and Khelshala.

Passages is an NGO that helps women with breast cancer while also tackling issues like drug abuse and emotional health, while Khelshala is an NGO that promotes sports, yoga and nutrition to underprivileged children in a holistic manner.

If you're a fan of all things art, you're in for a treat this weekend!
