Ten-Second Takeaway

At this one-of-a-kind event in Mumbai we can catch the beautiful rustic music from the North-East on Saturday, August 27 at CIDCO Exhibition and Convention hall at Vashi.

Experience The North East

A cultural fest celebrating the Seven Sisters states, the event will showcase tribal dances, band performances and even a rock concert by the artists from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.

Apart from the show, there’ll be special North-Eastern dishes served at the event – a cuisine that is rare to find in Mumbai. The fest will also feature skilled artisans from the North-East exhibiting handcrafts and cane and bamboo works. There’s an exciting line-up of Buya Dance of Nyishi Tribe, Peacock dance of Khampti tribe, Erap dance of Galo tribe and Pakhu Ittu dance of Apatani Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh and so much more at offer.

What else? An all-girls band, The Vinyl Records, Folk singer Dolly Das and Sofiyum and Manipur-based Guru Rewben Mashangva and Mangka Mayanglambam.
