When it comes raining down, you can do either one of two things: eat, or eat. People living in Bandra and around have a new pan-Asian food joint – Buddha Bowl.

Bowls Of Yum

A new takeaway joint, Buddha Bowl makes wholesome, traditional pan-Asian food inspired by the Buddhist philosophy of cooking which uses balanced flavours, using the freshest of ingredients and herbs.

Here, you can order both simple buddha bowls, wasabi pops, salads or curries inspired by Indian flavours too. Starters include dishes such as grilled paneer or chicken, bong chong chicken/ potatoes, sate chicken with sweet and sour sauce. These start at INR 250.

The Buddha Bowls are filling and satisfying – the som tam bowl, which is a papaya salad, Vietnamese noodles with sesame seeds, sushi bowls with an assortment of sushi pieces, or even home-made ramen bowls. Slurp.

They have also picked up influences from the Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnamese, Thailand, among other countries.

So, We're Saying...

They have vegan and Jain options for their food, so there’s something for everyone. We definitely suggest ordering in a meal in the middle of work for major comfort and warmth.
