The Burrito Factory in Bandra wraps up the most filling, and delicious burritos in town – all from its tiny outlet in Bandra.
This tiny burrito joint came to our notice rather unexpectedly when we were searching for food one day on Pali Hill.
The choices of the many befuddled it as the more our eyes lowered, the better it seemed to get. Vegetarians get a good eight burritos options and non-vegetarians, about 12. From these approx 20 options, you could get a quintessential burrito wrap or a bowl. They’ve got options such as chilli beans burrito, baked cheese french fries, cajun potato wedges, peri peri crispy-fried chicken burrito and even those with buffalo tenderloin, shrimp, chicken, tuna or lamb.
We tried the hummus and falafel burrito with black beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheddar cheese and a good stuffing of lemon rice, which didn’t become too soggy even though we ate it an hour after making. It was the best burrito of our life.
Well, you could always try some of the sides – variants of nachos, tacos and the all-important fries. We almost forgot, they always make salads for the one friend who is eating ‘healthy’. You could order it online or go and eat on the first floor.
