Butterfly High is one of the finest places to dine at when in Bandra Kurla complex. Right from the ambience to the staff everything is extremely spot on. The ambience is mesmerizing. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The food over here is mouthwatering. I tried the following :
Cocktail :
Starfish Surprise: a blend of starfruit, lime juice, gin, triple sec, fresh mint leaves topped with sparkling wine. Instead of gin, one can even opt for vodka. This cocktail was subtle in taste and a heavenly to drink. The presentation of this cocktail was beautiful.
Mocktail:
Kaffir lime bull: An extremely refreshing drink. The presentation of this was extremely nice. The flavour of the kaffir leaves is simply amazing. Simply an amazing option when it comes to a mocktail.
Starters:
Crumb fried Sriracha paneer bao: Bao is basically a Chinese steamed bread roll. This dish was basically baos with crispy paneer pieces in between. The inclusion of Sriracha sauce just elevated the flavor of this already lip-smacking dish.
Smoked Rozali kebab: straight from the presentation to the taste, this dish simply steals the show. Their taste is heavenly. They are different from any normal kebabs as they are stuffed with keema and cheese. This dish is a must-try if you happen to come here.
Main course:
Burnt garlic rice with sapo sauce: the flavor of the rice was amazing. I loved the sapo sauce. Really well made. The chicken pieces that were added in the sapo sauce were really well cooked. All in all this dish was really scrumptious.
Wild rice, Paneer tikka, kadhai gravy: the rice used over here is black rice, the paneer pieces were large and were really amazing when eaten together with the rice. The flavors of the marinated paneer as well as the gravy were simply spectacular.
Dessert :
Mario's discoveries: one of the best desserts ever. As the name suggests it is inspired by the video game mario. This dessert has a base of brownies and chocolate sauce. They also have managed to create clones of mushrooms just like the ones you will see in the video games. The stem of the mushroom was white chocolate and the top was a red Macaron. Heavenly in taste and a must try.
