What Makes It Awesome

If you’ve been waiting to find that right piece of furniture that’ll fit in your home like a piece from a jigsaw puzzle, you’re absolutely in luck. Bark & Groove, a furniture warehouse and studio in Lower Parel, is all about creating fresh, inspiring designs that are sure to brighten up your home.

Started by husband-wife duo Revant Chhabra & Madhvi Vaswani their designs are vibrant and full of colour – perfect for those drab corners.  P.S. It’s the cutest love story – they had wanted to start something together since their time together in college.

Inspired by classic and chic contemporary design styles, Scandinavian mid-century modern design to the more DIY inspired shabby & French provincial pieces, they incorporate literary themes into their designs, taking inspiration from various styles and forms of art and culture. All handmade by skilled craftsmen from the Suthar community in Rajasthan, we’re sold already!

They also offer to customise your selection, based on your need, preferences and fancy (you can play around with a host of colour, sizing and wood finish options).

What’s also exciting is they’ve ended up naming all their products after pop culture references or things that they’re fans of, like Russia, so one of their pieces is The Rasputin. They also love Vincent Van Gogh’s impressionist art and named their blue wardrobes ‘The Starry Night’.

Price: Their prices range depends on the size and finish of each piece. Their starting range for a piece like an ottoman is INR 8,000 and goes up from there for larger pieces. Storage options can be between INR 30,000- INR 50,000; TV units between INR 20,000- INR 35,000; beds between INR 50,000- INR 80,000 and bars from INR 30,000- INR 50,000.

PS: They're also taking orders now, so just give them a call with an image or description of what you're looking for, and they'll help you!
