Café Arpan in Juhu is not just another kid in the block. Started by an NGO (Yash Charitable Trust), it’s the second restaurant in the city to be run by differently abled people.

The same people had also started Mumbai’s first successful lunch box service in 2015, and this seemed as the most natural progression.

What Makes It Awesome

Apart from the most obvious reasons of shattering said stereotypes, the café serves healthy options when it comes to food.

Hot off the menu are items like the videshi vada pav, raste wala sada sandwich, airport wala special sandwich, exotic kachumber salad, garam chai, lemon iced chai, amongst other delicacies.

The décor is warm yet quirky and has spartan interiors, focusing on the primary initiative of offering comfort food in a loving environment.

Pro-Tip

The café will host jam sessions soon apart from serving healthy snack options. Expect music sessions with singers, instrument players and dance performances in the near future.
