There's one big things we associate Panama with! And you know what it is (hint: tax, tax, tax!) But, we've found another haven tucked away in the quaint lanes of Lower Parel (it's not what you think) called Cafe Panama! As the name suggests, it's a tropical haven with lots of natural greens, rustic natural decor and beachy cocktails.
This resto-bar boasts of one thing that's a little tough to find in a city like Mumbai, SPACE! And lots of open space. Enter and you'll see a high-rise ceiling that's transparent, so hello sunshine! This clubbed with life-like trees and plants, makes this a tiny little tropical oasis where you can brunch, lunch or head to for a date night. And the magnificent bunch of cane lamps and greens over the bar, it's the show's stealer. Really! So, if we were to rate this place for its ambience, well it's a good 4 out of 5!
Next, food and drinks! While this space was around for a few months, it's only recently it launched an entirely new menu. Expect hearty small dishes including jackfruit empanada, tuna tataki, Cuban sandwich and lots more. If you love tacos, they've got an entire section for just tacos and tostadas. Definitely try their flatbreads, avocado fries and Guacamole salad!
If you're a dessert person, their dark chocolate mousse and Biscoff cheesecake are both heavenly!
