Ten-Second Takeaway

Mumbai will open its doors to an all new eatery, Pravas – Gujarati Kitchen & Bar, where the interiors will have train bogies, chai tapri-style stools, scrumptious food and a fully stocked bar.

Tell Me More

This January, get ready to be teleported to Gujarat with Mumbai’s newest restaurant, Pravas. The eatery, which will be located right next to SMAAASH at Kamala Mills, plans on giving guests a complete home-style, Gujarati culinary experience all while enjoying the beautifully done up interiors.

Basically, you’re going to be in for an authentic train bogie dining experience because you will actually be seated inside bogies made of metal, that truly define the name of the place {which means a journey}.

The pure vegetarian Gujarati meals are a part of the menu designed by our Chef Siddharth Parab. Apart from the bogies, you can also look forward to other quirky elements in their decor such as luggage trunks, vibrant colours on the walls, khat seating and bar stools like those you see at chai tapris.

There will also be an interactive kitchen concept where the chef will prepare dishes live in front of the guests. There will also be a private dining room for larger groups, along with a rooftop experience that stays throughout. at later stages, this traditional fine dining restaurant will also offer traditional Maharashtrian and South Indian.

So, We’re Thinking…

We can’t wait to see what this new eatery will has in store for us, and we’re looking forward to this all-vegetarian fare with hungry stomachs.
