What Is It?
Our beloved British author and former politician, Jeffery R Archer is all set to embark on an Indian tour to promote his final novel in the series, Clifton Chronicles, 'This Was A Man' with a pit-stop at Crosswords, Kemps Corner on Thursday, November 24.
Who Is It For?
First and first more for the ardent Archer fans. If you've been obsessed with Kane and Abel {also adapted for television}. Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less, which was his first ever novel released in 1976, and the Clifton Chronicles which has been continuing since 2011. The 76-year old author is touring four cities - New Delhi on 21 November, Bangalore on 22 November, Pune on 23 November and Mumbai on 24 November - and back to London on 25 November.
The 'Clifton Chronicles' series explores the compelling family saga of two English families - The Cliftons and Barringtons set in the 20th century - one rich and one poor.
Why Should I Go?
If you've been religiously following the the Clifton Chronicles which includes: Only Time Will Tell {2011}, The Sins of the Father {2012}, Best Kept Secret {2013}, Be Careful What You Wish For {2014}, Mightier Than the Sword {2015}, Cometh The Hour {2016}, and the most recent release This Was A Man {2016}.
If you, like us, have been living in the world of fiction created by Archer of gripping realities, especially The Fourth Estate {reflecting the brutal media power play by the British media honcho, Rupert Murdoch} and many more like these. He will also be reading excerpts from the book, interact with the audience and sign books. What more can we ask for?
So, We're Saying…
We're absolutely having a major fan moment, and are looking forward to seeing Jefferey Archer in flesh and bones. Hope to see you there too.
