What Did I Like?

If you wish to eat good, authentic Malwani cuisine, head to Chaitanya in Dadar West. They apparently get their fish and ingredients from Malwan daily. The small eatery has a continuous flow of customers and you must go early to get yourself a seat. You may even have to share your table with others since the seats are limited.

It's all worth it when you taste the food. I ordered their Special Prawn Thali which had all items with prawns including the Koshimbir {salad}. The Fish Thali had the best Surmai curry that I have ever tasted. The fish was super fresh and absolutely delicious. We also were lucky to get Gaboli fry {fish roe fry} which was totally worth the drive to Dadar. If you are a seafood lover, you will love this one for sure.

What Could Be Better?

Definitely needs a larger space. The waiting can get too long.

Anything Else?

Do try their seasonal drinks and homemade ice creams.
