What Makes It Awesome

Pure Milk Centre in Kandivali West is home to all things cheesy (pun not intended!) on their menu. We stopped by the centre one fine, warm evening and can safely say, their cheesy fries dosa is cheesy as hell.

There’s always a crowd at Pure Milk Centre in the evenings, especially on the weekends. We swung by on a weekday so getting a table was a cakewalk. We plonked ourselves there, and were all set to try out the famous five layered cheese pasta, the legendary khali bali grilled sandwich, and the cheesy fries dosa.

The dosa (INR 480) is cut into four halves and the tip of each half is filled with generous quantities of cheese, and fries. What we had post that really got us drooling. The khali bali sandwich is as unique as its name. There are 8 in a plate and every slice has a different masala filled. For INR 420, it is accompanied by potato wafers and mint chutney. It’s definitely a plate that needs to be shared by two or more people, as we struggled to finish it by ourselves. For desserts we tried one of their house delicacies-the chocolate chaat (because normal savoury chaat is too passe!) The presentation of this dish makes you want to have it all by yourself but trust us, you'll be full after five bites. There's a base of brownie, with choco chip cookies, Oreo, Kit Kat, coffee sticks, and a lot of chocolate sauce.

Pure Milk Centre is a popular place among the residents for their cheesy items. People wait for up to 30 minutes to get a table to try out their cheese burst dosa and the pasta. So if you’re looking to try something out that rates 10/10 when it comes to cheese, check out the place. Like now!

Pro-Tip

They also do a mean cheese burst dosa, which is a regular masala dosa, topped with oodles of melted cheese. Pair that with their cream lassi and you’re all set to have a deep and sound sleep.
