Cheron cafe on Carter Road not only has an envious {and beautiful} sea-facing location, but also the cutest interiors. With plenty of natural light falling on the cafe up until late evenings, it makes for a cosy place for a quick chai-snack rendezvous.

If someone were to say good things come with a price, take them here. Cheron, as is with the bakery and takeaway at Hill Road, is extremely budget-friendly, diverse and does not compromise on its quality at all.
They have their bakery section full of chicken puffs, veg puffs, cutlets, farsan and so much more. None of this costs more than INR 100. We loved their paneer akuri puff {INR 60}, chocolate eclairs {INR 60 and worth every penny}, and the chicken tikka croissant {INR 70 and fully stuffed}.
They also have mutton biryani, chicken in coconut curry, chicken dhansak ready there. End this all with a good old bawa chai {INR 40}.

If you’re looking to get some chai and bun, head to Cheron on Carter Road. If the music doesn’t uplift your mood, catch the sun play hide and seek with the trees through the window – you are on Carter Road after all.
