Seafood always works for me. If you throw in Goan feels with live music, an al fresco section with a beautifully done up bar, and some great interiors that have Mario-Miranda-ish doodles all over, it makes the place even better.
I came across a cool 'seafood thali experience' deal at House of Lloyd in Juhu at just INR 1,000 per person, and immediately had to book this for the fam-jam. This uber cool place teleports you to Goa with its vibe and food.
(Read my experience in the pictures I've put up.) The place is slightly on the expensive side, and I have friends who've not had a great experience when they went a la carte, but we had a scrumptious meal and got to taste a bit of everything.
The Pomfret and prawns were particularly fresh and tasty. I'd surely go back for these. What's more, they also included a complimentary dessert - Bebinca with ice cream, which was the perfect (and sweetest) way to end our meal.
PS - It's a limited thali, but if you're a person with a bad appetite, you should probably share and eat.
