Something's Fishy A la Carte Dining is located on the first floor of the Tunga International in MIDC. Well, I have a lot to say about this restaurant. This is one of the finest and the classiest restaurant I've been to. Everything right from ambience to the food, the services etcetera is close to perfect here. They serve different types of Maharashtrian dishes which are of premium quality. Starting with the cocktails, there are some exquisite drinks served here with an adequate amount of alcohol to give you just a bit of kick and set you in a good mood. Also, the music playing in the background helps. The starters we ordered were all fishy, there were some prawns, clams and a pomfret which were cooked very nicely in a mixture of Indian spices. The spices added were not overpowering the fishiness of the dishes. Also being a total noob to the seafood world I found it a bit tricky to eat the pomfret dish. In the mains there was a rice dish called Nasi Goreng and a Mutton gravy served with some garlic and butter naan. The Mutton pieces were very well cooked and tender. In the desserts, I would recommend you to try The Walnut Pie. We tried: Cocktails- Singapore Sling Products Caribbean Ice I Mean So Blue Starters- Baby Pomfret Tawa Fry Crisp Prawn Chilly Butter Teseryo Sukke(Clams) Main Course- Nasi Goreng Mutton Bhuna Masala With some Garlic Naan And some Butter Naan Desserts- Walnut Pie German Black Forest Also a special thanks to the staff for being the nicest and teaching me how to eat a pomfret.
