Wondering how to make your weekend even more interesting than it already is? Well, thanks to the BMC and Tender Roots Academy For Performing Arts (NGO that promotes classical talent), the city's public gardens will sway to the strains of classical music performances at 17 locations with the launch of Mumbai Green Raga, according to this report

If you're the type that enjoys a morning walk (hell, yes!), you're in for a treat, as the classical extravaganza begins at 7 AM and will go on till 9 AM, featuring 85 vocalists and instrumentalists from Mumbai, Nashik and Pune. The whole and sole purpose of this is to provide a platform for up-and-coming musicians and introduce Mumbai residents to gardens in their own backyard that they might not have known of, according to this report

Some of the gardens you can head to are - Hanging Gardens, TATA Garden in Breach Candy, St. Joseph Bapista Garden in Mazgaon, Veer Baji Prabhu Udyan (Shivaji Park), Bandra Fort Amphitheatre, Kishore Kumar Park ( Juhu), CD Deshmukh Udyan (Mulund), Mindspace Garden (Malad), Evershine Dream Park (Kandiwali). Know more about the full list here.

It's time we wake up and start our day on a melodious note, and what could be better than classical music adding some melody to Mumbai's morning?
