HOPE or Healing Our Planet Earth is an NGO that's all about working towards a sustainable and zero-waste future. This Friday they are organising a clean-up and awareness drive called "Great Global Clean Up Challenge" at Yeoor Hills in Thane and they're teaming up with other environmental conservation organisations like Earthly Responsibility & Earth Day Network.
This Friday, they're aiming to cover a radius of 50 km, where they will be running a clean-up drive around the hill and will be cleaning up the trash that's littered in the area. Volunteers will be provided gloves, masks, and garbage bags to clean up the area and work on segregating the waste post which they'll be recycling the same.
