Cocoatrait, founded by India’s only certified chocolate taster L Nitin Chordia, is an initiative to bring fine chocolates to us, through their special chocolate subscription box.
The Chennai-based company offers two monthly chocolate subscription options across India- the monthly box and the luxury collection. The chocolates are sourced from across the country, and include a variety of flavours and types that we might be surprised by. With the monthly box (starting at INR 1,300), we will receive three handpicked, high-quality chocolate bars, which will be a surprise each time. However, we can state our preferences for what kind of chocolates we would like, and the box will be chosen accordingly. With the luxury box, you can expect more high-end chocolates.
They also have a concept of zero-waste chocolates, and the ingredients involved in making them are sustainable and reusable. These chocolates are packed using cocoa husk paper, and are biodegradable and compostable. The inner packaging has beautiful mandala art, habit trackers and other information so that the paper doesn’t go to waste.
You will get vegan, and gluten-free options too. Some interesting chocolate flavours include Sukku Coffee, Masala Chai Lavender, Lemongrass, Banana and Irish Coffee, Coconut Milk & Cinnamon.
