Bandra’s newest eatery, Coma Coma, is a home-delivery joint that excels in Mexican cuisine. Their USP lies in combining fresh ingredients with creative recipes. Coma literally means ‘eat’ in Spanish, so that solves the mystery around the name.
The menu is neatly divided between burritos/burrito bowls, tortas, empanadas and of course, some sides, all of which offer enough variety in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Some of their dishes include Bistec {thinly sliced buffalo tenderloin coated in fajita spices with brown onions, green peppers, scallions and salsa verde for INR 400}, Mushaboom {sauteed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and jalapeños in a habanero sauce with cheese, seasoned rice and our two-bean mix for INR 320}, PB&J {Ancho chile glazed pork belly with sauteed jalapeños, pickled red cabbage, lettuce, mayonnaise and salsa verde for INR 340}, Mexigoa {tangy and mildly spiced slow cooked pork mince for INR 250}, Pasture {sauteed mushrooms, spinach and American sweet corn for INR 250}, Esquites {sweet corn salad tossed in mayonnaise, fresh cheese, spring onions, cilantro and a splash of lime for INR 150} and so on.
They also have a drinks and desserts menu, making it an ideal spot to order in a whole meal. Presently, they only deliver in Bandra West and Khar West, but don’t worry, they hope to expand in the near future.
