What Makes It Awesome?

Za’atar is a Lebanese Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian outlet which is opened just a month and a half back. We were in the area looking for some authentic Lebanese food and went here to try them out. Parking is easily available outside the place in the lane. They have decorated the place nicely with bright colours and lights. Indoor seating is available and they also do home delivery and is also a child-friendly place.

Drinks:
Mint Lemonade – You will definitely love this and is really soothing in the summer heat.

Tamarind Cooler – With a mix of grated ginger, lemon and tamarind; this is something which selective people will like but it's worth the try.

Mezzes:
Muhammara – a Syrian origin dish which is made from red spiced pepper in the form of hummus dip topped with olive oil, walnuts, pomegranate and Arabic spices and served with homemade pita bread. Loved the flavour.

Avocado Hummus – a classic hummus blended with avocado and cilantro and topped with olive oil and chickpeas; served with flavoured pita bread to relish. Definitely try it.

Manakeesh:
Cheese Chilli Garlic Manakeesh – A popular Levantine food which is our fav pick from the list and I am sure you would love it too. They have many varieties in it and the dish is similar to the pizza. Here the dough is filled with cheese and chilli garlic and then sliced and served with the dips. Definitely Recommended !!!

Shawarma:
Harissa Paneer Wrap – A spicy option which we definitely wanted to try on. The wrap was loaded with Arabic spiced harissa paneer, veggies and leafy vegetables along with garlic and hot sauce. It was served with dips and was filling and nice.

Platters:
Mix Veg Grill Platter – This was a huge platter which included paneer, mushrooms, falafels and fried potatoes with an additional sauce of choice to select from. Best option to try if you are thinking to try many things on the same plate.

Dessert:
Chocolate Hummus – made with 65% chickpeas, this is more on the healthier side if you want to suffice your sweet tooth. This is served with fried cinnamon flavoured sticks and it tastes really good. Can't-miss this one out.

Overall, we loved their Lebanese food and the staff is friendly and nice as well. The outlet is small but the ambience is nice and the food is fresh and delicious. The quality and quantity are good and it’s a perfect value for money too. It’s a nice place to visit with friends or with family. We are gonna visit again soon.
