When Goa Meets Kolkata
The Lower-Parel based kitchen, The Curry Brothers currently run by Joshua D’Souza and Neha Manekia have finally decided to make the move to Bandra and started home-delivery last weekend. An outlet is already in place at the Sherly Rajan Road, Pali Hill next to Rizvi college with its 20-seater space. We’ve been told, the outlet will open to the public towards the end of June {stay glued here for more details}.
The Curry Brothers pride themselves in their Goa meets Bengal amalgamation. The result? We all enjoy the homemade style authentic curries. Recipes reminiscent of the grandmother’s past, these Goan cum Bengali curries will finally be served to the Bandra folks.
What's New?
The menu finds a minor upgrade but not as much. The home-delivery will feature our favourites, Rasam Risotto {red rice with spicy tomato rasam}, Kaldeen Khowsuey {packed with seasonal veggies or chicken} alongside noodles for the authentic Goan experience.
Then there’s Jhaal Muri {for the veggies}, pulled kosha mangsho, daal gosht, Goan Bhetki, pulled pork vindaloo and the big hitter, Goan Chorizo rice {part pulao, part fried rice}. All of this, and much more can now be ordered in Bandra. The outlet will also start serving regional thalis for when they open to the public properly, so be patient.
#LBBTip: The delivery will be within the 5 km radius.
So, We're Saying...
If you’re in the mood for some delicious curry that fuses the best of both world {Goa and Kolkata}, with the raindrops pitter pattering against the window panes, order in. Get comfortable with a bowl and relish the warmth of The Curry Brothers.
They have opened for home-delivery. The outlet for sit-down will open soon.
