For The Adventurers

If both of you are big fans of the outdoors, there are a lot of places in Mumbai and even close by, for a one-day outing. You can take train to Lonavala,  and trek to the Bhaje Caves and spend a whole day just exploring the space. There are rock-cut caves and enough to explore, which will leave you tired but happy at the end of the day.

It’s cheap, it’s fun and you’re sure to make happy memories.

    For The Singer In You

If the only way to your partner’s heart is through music, you can shine, baby! Karaoke makes for a super fun date and once you’re done singing, you can enjoy some great food and drinks at these places. There are a lot of restaurants that do karaoke in the city, like Little Door in Versova (Sunday afternoons), where you can croon to your heart's content. Head out there for a fun brunch, y'all!

    For The Local Tourists

Love exploring parts of the city together? There’s so much to see here, from museums to heritage walks, architecture to history – there’s something for every couple. You can either grab a map and walk around the city, exploring bits and stopping for food, or you can be a part of a heritage walk that will show you everything you’d want to see (you wouldn’t even know so much of the history they tell you about).

You can find some really interesting exhibits at the Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Byculla (closed on Wednesdays) which happen once a month and roam around in their beautiful lawns. Make sure you visit the museum shop to grab some memories of your trip here.

For The Soul In Need Of Pampering

If you've both had a rough week, and are in need of some serious R&R, there's nothing better than as spa day to soothe the senses and unknot those muscles.

Quan Spa at the JW Marriott offers a 180-minute couple's retreat called the Couple's Haven. This retreat promises to pamper you and your partner by soaking in a relaxing bath ritual, a bespoke skin polish, a calming aromatherapy massage, and a deep cleansing facial.

This 3-hour experience is sure to leave you feeling blissed out and completely relaxed, along with giving you a chance to spend quality unplugged (no phones please!) time with your significant other. At INR 28,000 plus taxes for 2 people, this is a luxe option.

    For The Nature Lovers

Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) or Borivali National Park is like New York City’s Central Park for Mumbai – except it’s not really in the centre (it’s a suburban gold mine) but works the same way – it provides Mumbai the green space it badly needs.
We'd say enjoy the nature at its best in the middle of the concrete jungle, by planning a day trip to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Go cycling, enjoy a lion safari or go for a romantic boat ride. Well, to make your date special, there is a cute and a cosy pine hut where you can set up a romantic candlelight dinner. Or make it royal and historic by taking a walk in the caves.

For Those Looking For A Royal Date

The stunning Royal Opera House near Chowpatty sets just the right mood for grand gestures of love. At this newly restored building, the beautiful stained glass windows, massive structure, deep-red upholstery and baroque work on the walls make it a most romantic place. We'd say take your date on an opera night, and book yourselves the royal box for two. Or simply dine at the elegant and fancy restaurant.

    For The Animal Lovers

Head to Cat Café Studio in Versova for your does of cat love. The cafe has resident rescues that have made their home here, and the best part is that all these beautiful kitties are up for adoption.

You can just walk in through the week, and spend time petting and loving these cuties. What we loved best - the cafe also has a studio space that hosts a variety of events through the week from live music to workshops and open mics.
