Shortcut

Stopping on a Delhi highway to devour a Punjabi Thali is a vital part of a roadtrip, up in the North. If you are tired of missing those kickass dhaba thalis in Mumbai, this restaurant in Andheri can provide you with the much-needed respite.

Tell Me More

Delhi Highway’s food will remind you of those delicious evenings spent on highway dhabas, but their decor is nothing short of a royal expanse, with high arch ceilings and ornate walls. Pretty copper thalis will increase your appetite even before the food is served in them. The restaurant is 100% vegetarian and does not serve alcohol. But, their edgy mocktails like Mumbai-Wali Masakali and classic Long Island Ice Tea will not make you miss your booze!

Let’s Talk Thali

The menu comprises a la carte, a limited thali and an unlimited maharaja thali. But what stands out about the restaurant is their special winter thali {Punjab National Highway Thali} that has sarson ka saag and makki di roti, Punjabi chhole, aloo methi, lehsun ka achar, onion and green chilli salad, a dollop of white butter, desi gur {jaggery}, gajar ka halwa, dal churma, jalebi and kulhad ki chhaas.

The thali will cost you INR 450 from Monday to Saturday and INR 550 on Sunday.

Anything Else?

If you are not in the mood for a thali, you can also go for classic Delhi delights like dahi bhalla, papri chaat, Dilli kee mashoor aloo tikki chat and chhole bhature. You can also try fusion food like Indo-Mexican quesadillas, kadai pasta and mozzarella kulcha.

So, We’re Saying…

If you are craving good food, good ambience and good service, Delhi Highway will be our latest pick. Do try out as much as possible.
