What Makes It Awesome

Replacing the really old Mainland China at Sakinaka junction, this new Asian place has been a welcome change both in terms of food and decor. Ambience is an upgraded, more bar-like version of Mainland China that was initially at this location. Few of the highs of this place are the oriental decor with perfectly spaced seating and good music at the right volume that allows you to have a conversation.

The menu is clutter-free with fare from the whole of the orient and beyond. The drinks menu was pretty extensive as well.

They have an elaborate appetizers menu - starting from sushi to dimsums to baos to satays to khowsuey and Ramen. Main course is a delight with options for self and shared portions. In fact, every dish that we have tried has turned out to be really good. Must try - khowsuey, teriyaki chicken, dumplings, Malaysian fish, java grilled fish, duck teriyaki bao, general tao's chicken and more.

What Could Be Better?

The place gets really full over the weekends and the speed of service falls by a bit. However, the staff is courteous and really willing to serve - so that is taken care of. And of course, the food is delicious.

What's My Pro Tip

They have valet parking, but it's right at the Saki Naka junction which is a traffic black hole.
