Bandra Peeps, You Can Now Get Your Favourite Tapri Chai Home-Delivered

If you live or work in Bandra – then get hot steaming ‘tapri chai’ delivered using Chotu Chai Wala – a Mumbai-based website that connects tea sellers and customers.

Choto Chai Wala is a website that works closely with five local tea stalls in Bandra, all to get tea delivered from these stalls at your doorstep. All you have to do is go to the website, wherein they offer tea subscriptions that vary from a week to a month, depending on what you want. This website is an initiative by Zepo, which is an eCommerce website which lets anyone sell their products online. From there, it progressed onto a full fledged tea delivery website – and we are happy it did.

For now, they only cater to Bandra – SV Road, Linking Road, Waterfield Road, Twenty Fourth Road, Twenty Ninth Road, Thirty Fifth Road, Elco Market and Hill Road but they do have plans to expand it to South Mumbai and more. The subscription vary according to the location but on an average a week’s worth of subscription starts approx INR 70 onwards. Once a day, steaming ‘garam chai‘ would be delivered to the subscribed address.

How the website is bridging the gap between online shopping and local business. It’s not only empowering the local tea stalls by giving them a platform to sell their freshly made tea – but also gives conveniences the customers ordering tea. It makes for a fitting tea subscription within an office setting especially – wherein tea can be delivered on regular basis – without really stepping out.
