Genuine Broaster Chicken is a US brand that has recently started franchises in the Indian market. They first opened an outlet in Versova, while later opening another in the Bandra Reclamation.
On entering the restaurant, we were greeted with cricket cheers and unique lights, and beautiful instrumental music. The decor of this restaurant was retro and gives that hip 1950s American-style vibes which was pretty cool. {I'm a huge fan of anything vintage!} The overall ambience of the restaurant was quirky to say the least.
We had ordered the broaster chicken platter, which included 3 types of fried chicken; the iconic genuine broaster chicken, happy fried chicken and hot masala chicken, all having four pieces each. I can say that it was the best fried chicken we ever had! The chicken was so crispy on the outside while being perfectly tender on the inside.
Also, the chow chow noodle burger which was something out of this world. In between the soft burger buns there was tender chinese spiced chicken bites topped with wok hakka noodles and schezwan mayo. This unique blend of Chinese and American cuisines was a delight to our taste!
