Recently visited this place One street which is right above the known restaurant Bastian in Bandra. And all thanks to Chef Kelvin for creating one such memorable experience for all the foodies out there.
As soon as I walked in, I could feel the vibe of having a great evening with good food. I didn’t get to try much from their bar menu as I was down with flu, so just grabbed a glass of red wine.
For starters, I had steamed edamame with rock salt and chilli oil. Edamame is a no miss for me if the restaurant has it in their menu. The second was truffle fries and it was absolutely delicious.
For the mains, I went for Dan Dan ramen with peanut coconut broth, chilli oil and mushrooms duxelle and it was sumptuous and graced the table.
The second round comprised of spicy whole wheat ramen with smoked chicken and a soft poached egg. It was decent enough but didn’t suit my tastebud. It was a pass for me.
Lastly, Mac and cheese which was delicious and can be anyone’s go-to food. It was very creamy and cheesy.
How can my dinner be complete without some dessert? I had ordered creme brûlée with Sri Lankan vanilla bean, brown butter crumbles and organic berry sorbet and it was a masterpiece. It was a perfect dessert to end our meal with.
I’m definitely visiting this place again to try out their drinks and a few more items from the menu. Also, this place doesn’t take reservations. They believe in first come first serve.
