The palace boasts of British colonial architecture, and has huge Darbar halls, sprawling lawns, and a mango orchard with Idar Ratan mangoes (everyone loves mangoes, don't they?). The Maharaja's love for vintage cars is very evident; from the Maharaja’s museum that houses a vintage collection of cars, carriages and motorboats.
What Do We Get: The property serves an array of Gujarati, traditional Rajput and continental food, as per the order you place. As a guest, you can enjoy all these facilities, along with a club room that has a pool table, swimming pool, TT table, carrom and other indoor games. Know what's cooler? How To Reach: Located in Himmatnagar, Gujarat, you can either drive down (it takes about 10 hours to get there) or take local transport or even travel by air (1.15 hours approx.). Alternatively, you can travel from Mumbai to Ahmedabad by flight and then drive down to Himmatnagar, which is about 1.5 hours away.
