What Is It?

If you can’t end a meal without some sweets, these five easy recipes will give every meal of the day a happy ending. Made using Nestlé Milkmaid, these summer delights are going to be your quickest escape into sweet bingeing and best short fixes for surprise visits by guests.

Chocolate Walnut Spread

We love jams, all the more when chocolate is involved. This homemade nutty chocolate spread is going to be your a new favourite evening snack for the kids.

Ingredients:

1 tin (400g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tbsp-Butter
4 tbsp (20g)-Cocoa Powder
50g-Chopped Milk Chocolate
1/2 cup-Walnut coarsely chopped

Preparation:

Start with melting chocolate and butter in a pan over low heat, add the cocoa powder and mix it well. While stirring constantly, mix the Nestlé Milkmaid and walnuts, and cook over low heat until thick. Once it gets the texture of a spread, keep it for cooling. Store it in a jar and keep it in your fridge for the little hunger pangs.

Thandai Mousse

Because we are done with the basic chocolate mousse and want some more. It won’t be difficult to create some sweet stories this summer with a glass of Thandai Mousse.

Ingredients:

1/2 tin (200 gm) Nestlé Milkmaid
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Gelatin
2 cups Whipped Cream
1 tsp Khus Essence for thandai paste
2 tsp Fennel for thandai paste
1 tsp Cardamom powder for thandai paste
6 Pepper for thandai paste
10 Soaked and peeled Badam for thandai paste


Preparation:
Grind together thandai paste ingredients.  Boil milk, add MILKMAID & thandai paste. Pour mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for 30 mins. Mix gelatin in milk and add to the mixture. Add whipped cream to it & mix well. Pour into glass. Refrigerate for three hours & garnish with nuts.

Orange Delight

Anything and everything with orange is delightful and refreshing. So, here’s a recipe for Orange Sorbet you got to try now.

Ingredients:

1/2 tin (200g) Nestlé Milkmaid Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 tbsp Gelatin
2 cups fresh cream
3 cups orange juice
1 orange

Preparation:
Soak gelatin in orange juice. Heat over a pan of hot water till gelatin dissolves. Cool and keep aside the pan. Whip cream till light and fluffy {3-4 tbsp cream for decorating} and fold in sweetened Nestle Milkmaid. Mix in juice and gelatin mixture and pour into a wet mold & freeze. Unmold & serve decorated with orange sections and whipped cream.  

Shahi Tukre

Who would have guessed that sliced bread could be so awesome?


Ingredients:

1/2 tin (200g) NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup (150 ml) Milk
1 tbsp Corn Flour
1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder
8 slices Bread
1 tbsp Mixed Dried Fruits
1 cup (175 gm) Sugar for syrup
Ghee- To fry
1 cup (150 ml)-Water for syrup

Preparation:
First up, make a paste of cornflour with 2-3 tbsp milk. Mix Nestlé Milkmaid with the rest of the milk and bring milk mixture to boil. Add cornflour paste and cook stirring constantly until thick then add elaichi powder. Prepare syrup by boiling water and sugar together, strain it and keep aside. Cut bread slices into two and deep fry in ghee until golden brown. Immediately put the fried bread into the sugar syrup.  Dip for a fraction of a minute, so that the tukras remain crisp. Remove from syrup and arrange in a serving dish. Top each piece of prepared bread {see preparation of bread and syrup} with 1 tbsp mixture of Nestlé Milkmaid and nuts.

Banana Cake

Because bananas can do a lot more than just give you that post-workout energy.

Ingredients:

1/2 tin (200 gm) Nestlé Milkmaid
2 Banana Mashed
1/2 cup (75 ml) Curd
50g Butter Softened
2 cups (200g) Maida
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Soda Bicarbonate
1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Preparation:
Before you start anything else, preheat the oven to 180º C. Grease a cake pan and dust with flour and keep aside. Beat together butter and Nestlé Milkmaid until creamy, add the dahi and whisk well. Sieve maida, baking powder and baking soda well. Fold the maida into the Nestlé Milkmaid – dahi mixture and add the mashed bananas and mix well. Add the vanilla essence and mix. Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake in a preheated oven for 25 –30 minutes, till tooth-pick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes and remove onto a serving dish. Slice and serve.
