End Of The Month Woes? Check Out These Free Events This Weekend

Being broke towards the end of the month is nothing new to us, but being broke on a weekend that falls at the end of the month is just savage. To make things slightly less grim for everyone, we've rounded up a list of free cool events for the broke fellas out there like us to spice up the weekend by spending NOTHING. Also, who doesn't love free stuff?

Zumba Fitness Workshop

Pump up some blood and get zumba dancing on point with this free workshop by the Freakout Garage. Burn out some calories by turning up at this free workshop. Make sure to reach there at least half an hour before time to sign up for the class.

Vijendra's Free Zumba Master Class

For Goregaon dwellers, head over to Vijendra's free Zumba class over the weekend, and get a masterclass in Zumba dancing. Marking it is a 'friendship's day special' the class is open for one and all.

Catch A Classical Dance Show

A Bharatanatyam show at the National Centre for Performing Arts {NCPA) for classical dance patrons titled 'Karna – Destiny’s Child' by Bala Devi Chandrashekar. We recommend this for anyone looking for a bit of a cultural night. The show is free for all, and the seats are on first-come first-serve basis.

Anagram and Film at Bonobo

Anagram is a Delhi-based DJ and producer who combines deep tech, house to hip-hop. For the house music lovers, Bonobo in Bandra West is hosting Anagram for a live gig, and yes the entry is free! No grime music lovers, hit up this place on Friday, 29th July.

Kaleidoscope At Piramal Art Gallery

A painting exhibition at the NCPA that'll showcase artwork by legendary artists like K.G Subramanyan, M.F Hussain, Ganesh Pyne, K. Ramanujan, Sujata Bajaj, F.N Souza, S.H Raza, Badri Narayan and more is definitely on our to do list. Escape the grim skies and wet roads, and head into the exhibition for a glorious afternoon of art and artists.

Travelling In Two Boats At Akara Art Gallery

Eye on Poland at Dr. Bhau Daji lad Museum

In collaboration with the Polish Institute of Delhi, Eye on Poland - aptly named - will feature graphic designs by Polish designers. The Painted Goddess at Artisans Gallery

Yet another solo exhibition on the list for the weekend to-do-things. The Painted Goddess by Sanjay Chitara will display artwork in contemporary shrine cloths. The concept is all about the Chitaras {once a lower-caste from the Vaghari community}, prohibited from entering temples, created their own makeshift shrines by painting the deities on cloth.
