Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2025
The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF) is celebrating its silver jubilee. This year’s festivities will open with Silver Sitaare Fusion, a grand spectacle showcasing 25 dance styles. Complementing this is the release of the KGAF Anthem by composer Shantanu Moitra. KGAF will also launch a commemorative Coffee Table Book about its journey, with contributions from personalities like Brinda Miller, Ranjit Hoskote, and Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The festival is also set to host standup comedy by Shreeja Chaturvedi and Kumar Varun's ‘Kvizzing with the Comedians,' theatre performances by Makarand Deshpande, Juhi Babbar, and Aakarsh Khurana and more. The festival boasts of insightful sessions led by luminaries such as Devdutt Pattanaik, Gurcharan Das, and Jerry Pinto and also dance performances by Aditi Mangaldas, Padmashri Narthaki Nataraj, and more.

'On the Cusp of The Eight Day' Exhibition At Gallery XXL
'On The Cusp Of The Eighth Day,' summons the life and works of Aravanis, the transgender community in India, through the Aravani Art Project – a trans and cis women art collective. The exhibition takes its name from the 8 day war of the Mahabharata where, on the eighth day, a sacrifice (the Kauravas' vanquish) is necessary for a new beginning. The curation aims to highlight the doubleness of how gender, gender identity, gender expression, and sexuality is conceived, perceived, and lived.
