    This Leisurewear Label Is Addressing Mental Health Through Its Unique Collection

    Exhale is a leisurewear brand with a conscience. While it creates super comfortable and trendy clothes, it does so with focus on spreading mental health awareness.

    What Makes It Awesome

    How can you be physically fit if you aren’t mentally fit? That’s the question Exhale asks as a brand. Started by Palak Shah, this label aims at creating empowering products to encourage conversation and awareness towards mental health. The idea is to fill the void between the existence of mental health problems and the lack of awareness around it. Through Exhale, Palak brings together people with heart-rending stories who narrate them, spark a conversation and build a symbiotic community. 

    She designs everything by herself. Launched this year in May at the Style Cracker, Exhale grabbed attention at its very first appearance. Their first collection has 21 different designs and is made of comfortable fabric and easy to wear, properly aligned with the ongoing leisurewear trend. Affordable for all, the entire range is priced between INR 700 to INR 2,000. And 10-15% of their monthly sale is given off to organisations that work for the well-being of the mind.

    While people submit their stories to Exhale, which get featured on their website, each of their products is named after the woman who has inspired that piece of clothing. 

    What Could Be Better

    So far, Exhale only caters to women. But given the high demand, they are toying with the idea of expanding to make menswear as well.
