Mumbai is a fascinating city, no doubt. And truly a melting pot of cultures as well. As many of us may be unable to travel due to the pandemic, it gives us a great opportunity to explore our own backyard. It's with this idea of exploring all things 'local' that Raconteur Tours has started a series of tours all through the month of December, giving us a chance to be 'local tourists' and explore Mumbai's own history and heritage.
On Sunday, head to Byculla to learn more about Mumbai Jewish community and history. The tour will take you to the Magen David Synagogue, a synagogue located on the premises of a Jewish school. Walk through Byculla's less-explored bylanes to know more about this community and its legacy in Mumbai.
