The Cheesy Crust was started by two food connoisseurs -- renowned chef Rakesh Talwar and celebrity food blogger Suprio Bose (better known as The Nomad Foodie) -- out of their desire to create pizzas and pastas that would appease the varied Indian palate. Pizzas are made using farm-fresh ingredients every day. What is truly special about The Cheesy Crust are their pides. Pide is the Turkish variant for pizza and is filled with meat or vegetables and other toppings. TCC bakes a special crust for the pide (and pizzas) which prevents bloating and is currently the only gourmet, fast-food restaurant in India that has this dish on their menu.
