Shortcut

It's that time of the year again, and you'll find Ganesh pandals spread across the city. But choose wisely and visit the best, in case you have a time crunch, or in case you want to have the best of experiences. Here, we'll tell you about one of our favorites, which is also one of the oldest in the city. Take a look.

What Makes It Awesome

Every year, Sion and King's Circle is lit up during Ganeshotsav with shiny bulbs and happy pilgrims. Thanks to the GSB Seva Mandal, that set itself up in the yeat 1951. It is a non-profit organization that puts up one of the biggest pandals in the city. Not only is it the oldest, but also one of the most expensive pandals in the city. The Ganesha idol is laden with gold and the decor can give any wedding a run for its money. There's a Virat Darshan on Tuesday, September 2, that starts at 5:30 PM, and trust us, you don't wanna miss this.

Pro-Tip

Parking may be an issue around the pandal. And since there'll be a lot of crowd around, make sure you travel light. It's one of the better-managed pandals in the city. In case you want to volunteer, write to the organisation on website.
